Strawberry Banana Spirulina Bowl

Pitaya and Acai seem to be having all of the fun these days, but let us not forget about another fantastic superfood, Spirulina. 

This is a great breakfast filled with antioxidants, natural energy boosters, protein and much much more. 

Strawberry Banana Spirulina Bowl

Serves 1


  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 6 strawberries
  • 1 cup spinach 
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup dairy free milk or water
  • 1 Tbsp Spirulina powder
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup goji berries

In a blender add banana, strawberries, spinach, ice, milk and spirulina. Blend ingredients until smooth. Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with seeds and goji berries.
